Allen Tiller

Allen Tiller's interest in the paranormal started at a very young age, reading countless books and watching a myriad of paranormal related television shows. He also had a strong interest in history and genealogy and in early 2002 was able to bring the three interests together with paranormal investigation whilst living in the State of Queensland, Australia.

In 2007 he founded Eidolon Paranormal in his home state of South Australia, and began to look into the vast history of what is considered Australia's most haunted town, Kapunda.

Kapunda already held much interest for Allen as this is where Allen Tiller's Grandparents were from, and members in his family tree were founding pioneers of the town.

In 2009 Allen Tiller founded SA Paranormal, and in 2010 SA Paranormal Meet-ups, both hugely successful groups, with SA Paranormal bringing together paranormal teams from across the State under one banner for investigations, and SA Paranormal Meet-ups allowing the public to interact with the teams that are involved with SA Paranormal. The popularity of both groups has been immense.

In 2011 just before filming a television episode of news program Today Tonight, in a cemetery outside Kapunda  Allen Tiller met his future wife Karen.

Allen Tiller proposed to her in the very cemetery they met 6 months later, and in 2013 the two married in Kapunda in a small private ceremony in St Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

In 2012 Allen Tiller founded his paranormal project “The Haunts of Adelaide: History, Mystery and the Paranormal” a blog and forum that features historical accounts and documentation of hauntings in Adelaide and South Australia.

Within three months the blog had been awarded a place in "The National Library of Australia", and "State Library of South Australia's", Pandora Archive, an archive maintained by the Australian Government of digital media that is of historical accuracy and relevance to the future of Australia.

At this time Allen's Eidolon Paranormal website  and The Haunts of Adelaide blog are the only two Australian paranormal related websites contained in the Archive.

Allen has also appeared in local newspapers for paranormal related topics and for his work in the local community, where he volunteers in local groups

Allen has also written for international paranormal magazines (Heart Soul Spirit Magazine, Paranormal World Magazine, Paranormal Underground Magazine), as well as for other local teams blogs and websites.

Allen is also a published poet, a keen videographer and editor, musician (writing his own music for some his own productions) and a keen advocate for the survival of endangered Australian native wildlife.

Allen has also appeared on current affairs program Today Tonight, on television show "Psychic TV" & International television show HAUNTING:AUSTRALIA which has screened in the USA on the SYFY network, The UK on The Really Network, Asia on KIX & THRILL networks, Canada on "Travel & Escape", Sweden on TV4 and Australia on Foxtel and Channel 4ME

Allen has also been an extra in the Russell Crowe film " The Water Diviner" and  2014 released internationally his first book " The Haunts of Adelaide".

In 2016 Allen was invited by the Adelaide City Council to work on the world first  "Haunted buildings in Adelaide" project, as Historian in Residence at the Adelaide City Library. The project accumulated historical photos, stories, history and documentation about allegedly haunted locations in the City of Adelaide and North Adelaide, and is free for the public to read online.

Accompanyin gthe tour are three videos made by Allen and his Wife Karen. The videos clocked over 3000 views in their first day. The free tour books, were virtually 'sold out' in a week and have became a collectors item!

In 2017 Allen was award by the History Council of South Australias as the "2017 Emerging South Australian Historian of the Year".
